Handmade Tsar Cat Portrait Brooch – Cabinet of Curiosities Edition

A brooch of absolute narrative fantasy and poetic humor, entirely handmade, which reinterprets the Victorian animal portrait into a haute couture jewel teeming with colors and precious details.

On an emerald green felt background, framed by openwork gilded metal lace, an oval medallion on a sky-blue background hosts the portrait of a cat with a haughty and slightly sulky gaze — a vintage image of an old-fashioned and irresistible charm, surrounded by a bouquet of colorful painted flowers. The medallion is encircled by a row of sparkling white rhinestones and vivid red cabochons, punctuated by two large intensely fuchsia emerald-cut crystals arranged on either side — touches of precious and vibrant light.

Crowning it is a generous bouquet of fabric and hand-sculpted resin flowers: scarlet red rose, fuchsia pink rose, small coral rose and green leaves — an exuberant and romantic floral composition. At the bottom of the medallion, a sculpted resin rose, accompanied by small blue ceramic flowers, precedes a cascade of pendants: two round glass pearls in pink and sun yellow, and a large aurora borealis crystal drop with shifting iridescent reflections — a luminous and enchanting conclusion.

A unique, narrative, and collector's piece, which blends Victorian feline iconography, floral romanticism, and exceptional artisanal jewelry. Made in extremely limited quantities in our workshop in the South of France.
