Handmade Spaniel Portrait Brooch – Cabinet of Curiosities Edition

An exceptional, entirely handmade brooch that reinterprets Victorian animal portraiture as a haute couture jewel of rare richness and poetry.

At its center, an oval medallion on a turquoise background features the portrait of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with soft, expressive eyes, adorned with a blue satin bow – a vintage image with old-fashioned and romantic charm, framed by a row of turquoise cabochons and aurora borealis iridescent rhinestones. This medallion is set in a large rectangular frame with radiating guilloche golden metal corners, bordered by a row of mother-of-pearl micro-beads on a black velvet background – a setting of absolutely striking elegance.

Crowning it all is a bouquet of hand-sculpted flowers: a pink rose, a blue flower, a mauve flower, and green ceramic leaves, for a romantic and spring-like floral touch. At the bottom, a coral resin rose, set in openwork golden lace, gracefully concludes the composition.

A unique, precious, and narrative piece, blending Victorian iconography, floral art, and exceptional artisanal jewelry. Produced in extremely limited quantities in our workshop in the South of France.
